Investigators with the National Transportation Safety Board have released a preliminary report on a February plane crash that killed two people.  The aircraft reportedly left from a Grain Valley airport on Valentine’s Day and went down in a field near Osborne shortly after its departure.  The report said the plane hit “trees” while maneuvering at low altitude.  The pilot and a passenger died in the crash.  A final report is expected to be released on a later date.
