Rezoning on North Osage Avenue is one item up for discussion Monday night at the Sedalia City Council meeting. Click to hear KMZUs John Chojnicki talk with City Administrator Gary Edwards:
“This is something that has gone through both council and planning and zoning,” Edwards said. “All of the other lots in that immediate area have been approved and this zoning change would allow the city to acquire additional land.”
Council will also consider a reduction in budgeted funds related to the cleaning and inspection of the city’s sewer lines. “The project is not as extensive as they initially thought,” Edwards explained. “Consequently not as much work is needed and there has been a reduction in the contract price.”
The meeting takes place Monday evening at 6:00 p.m. in council chambers.
