Richmond City Council will consider two ordinances at Tuesday’s meeting. Click to hear KMZU’s Kristie Cross speak with City Administrator Ron Brohammer:
The way one is written, the quarter-cent sales tax can be used on capital improvements, but voters actually approved a tax to be used on capital improvements and recreational facilities. The change will allow the park to use the funds on maintenance and seating, for example. The second ordinance regards handicapped parking at the full employment council office. The meeting begins at 6:30 in Council Chambers.
