RICHMOND, Mo. – A public hearing will be part of the opening agenda for the Richmond City Council meeting Monday night, August 23, 2016.
The hearing will be for the setting of the 2016 Tax Levy. Council will vote on a bill on that levy later in proceedings.
Also of note during the evening’s meeting will be the presentation of the draft Fiscal Year 2017 Budget.
Prior to that presentation Mayor Mike Wright is expected to appoint Rachael Tarrant to the Richmond Police Department.
The agenda has also scheduled reports from the Finance, Ordinance, Public Works and Public Safety Committees. City Administrator Ron Brohammer will also present his report to council.
The regular session will get underway at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers of Richmond City Hall, 205 Summit St.
