The Richmond City Council will meet in regular session this evening. Click to hear KMZU’s Kristie Cross speak with City Administrator Ron Brohammer:
An upcoming street overlay project is on the agenda. Brohammer said it will carry an approximate $420,000 price tag. “We talk about it in numbers of square footage,” said Brohammer, “We will do about 490,000 square feet of overlay. We have about 23 streets that will actually be effected. With some of them, we will only do a part of the street and not the whole thing.”
Work on Wollard Boulevard will also be up for consideration. “We have a drainage project there that we are going to try to do in-house,” said Brohammer, “If we get underway, it will cost us in the neighborhood of $40,000. We will also discuss a water truck that we have in this year’s budget. We will propose this purchase which will be around a $50,000 item.”
Council is scheduled to meet at City Hall at 6:30 p.m.
