RAY COUNTY, MO – A case is being pursued after the arrest of a Richmond man early Sunday by Highway Patrol.

Charges were recommended against Gerald Gaulden, 30, including a felony for driving while intoxicated. Another allegation listed in the report is for failure to drive on the proper half of the roadway, and leaving the scene of an accident. Gaulden was on probation after a 2016 judgement in a vehicle tampering case. He was further charged with driving while revoked or suspended, and noncompliance with an ignition interlock device.

Gaulden was taken to Ray County Jail pending formal charges.
