The Richmond City Council seems to be moving forward with plans to reduce their sewer treatment service from a two plant operation to a single facility. Council members received an update on the project Tuesday night. Click to hear KMZU’s Chelsea Wade talk with City Administrator Ron Brohammer:
According to Brohammer, the next step in the process is to get approval from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources on an anti-degradation study.
City officials are expected to meet with DNR Thursday.
They expect to have the designs completed by the end of February.
