The numbers are in from the Richmond Hazardous Waste Collection. Click to hear KMZU’s Chelsea Wade speak with City Administrator Ron Brohammer:
115 cars came to the August 17th event. More than 10,000 pounds of waste product was collected. “Paint. Oil-based and latex-based paint. Used motor oil. Pesticides and other toxic chemicals,” said Brohammer, “So we’re very pleased. It was a good turnout.”
The annual event is free to Richmond residents.
