RICHMOND, MO – Richmond police made an arrest Tuesday after an investigation into allegations of stealing made by an area resident.

The arrest Tuesday, of Leslie Raymond Jackson, 46, was upon evidence that Jackson broke into the back window of a vehicle June 9 and stole the victim’s purse and belongings. According to a probable cause statement, a debit card was allegedly used fraudulently at several gas stations.

Formal charges are pending, which include felonies for stealing a credit device, and forgery.
