Ron Brohammer

Brohammer said they learned Friday that they would be given the funds for their new waste water treatment plant.  This money will be used in the first part of construction, which includes a pump station and pipeline.  The second part of the  project is the plant construction and equipment itself. That will be constructed using private financing.

Receiving the $500,000 Community Development Block Grant means bids could go out as early as next week.  A bid could be accepted as soon as the of May or early June.  Once construction begins, it is expected to take 420 days to complete.
