MILLER COUNTY, Mo. — The Missouri Highway Patrol says speed was a factor in a motorcycle crash in Miller County Saturday night.
The report says Jimmy Sanders, 22, of Linn Creek. was traveling at a high rate of speed when his Victory Octane motorbike went off the right side of eastbound Highway 42 at Antioch Road.
The bike struck a sign, ejecting Sanders, leaving him with moderate injuries.
Sanders was transported by ambulance to to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.
Additionally, Sanders faces allegations of driving 90 in a 45 mile per hour zone, careless driving involving a crash, driving while intoxicated by drugs as a prior offender, failure to drive on right half of the roadway, failure to signal, driving while revoked and driving without insurance.
Formal charges have not been filed.
