MOBERLY, Mo.— (updated 1/2/2020 21:15) A warrant has been issued for the suspect in a New Year’s Day robbery. Landen L. Jackson, of Moberly, faces charges of first degree robbery and armed criminal action following an armed robbery at Daily Mart Gas Station in Moberly on Wednesday. Charges have been sent to the Randolph County Prosecutor’s Office. Bond for Jackson is set at $100,000 cash only.



MOBERLY, Mo. – A robbery suspect was chased around Moberly Wednesday night, before surrendering to police.

Officers were sent to an armed robbery complaint at the Daily Mart Gas Station on Rollins Street at 8:23 p.m. Wednesday. It was reported a black male entered the store and displayed a handgun. The suspect fled west on foot after the robbery. An officer spotted the man a few blocks away. The suspect ran through back yards and climbed onto a downtown roof top before climbing down to surrender.

The suspect name is not being released pending filing of formal charges.
