Two Warrensburg residents were killed Friday night in a Johnson County car crash. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 24-year-old Travis Arnold of Warrensburg lost control of the westbound vehicle on highway 50 near business 50. The vehicle ran off the roadway into the median where Arnold overcorrected sending the car back onto the highway where it collided with another westbound vehicle driven by 41-year-old Ronnie Rollins of Lee’s Summit, before continuing off the right side where it overturned ejecting Arnold and passengers’ 18-year-old Jacob Netz and 19-year-old Malcolm Thomas. Netz and Thomas both died at the scene. Rollins came to a controlled stop and was uninjured. Arnold was transported to Research Hospital in serious condition by Life Flight.
