JOHNSON COUNTY, Mo. — Two people were injured when a vehicle ended up on its top in Johnson County Tuesday afternoon.

The single-vehicle accident occurred around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday on Northwest 200 Road, west of Highway W.

The Missouri Highway Patrol said 18-year-old Makayla Devault, of Holden was the driver of a Ford Taurus which went off the right side of the road and overturned onto it’s top after Devault lost control of the vehicle.

Devault and her passenger, 16-year-old Victoria Ellis, of Kingsville were transported to Centerpoint Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
