PLATTE COUNTY, Mo. — An accident in Platte County early Tuesday morning injured a Kansas driver.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 3:15 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 29 southbound at the 3.6 mile marker.

A tractor-trailer operated by Scott D. McKay, 54, was traveling from northbound I-365 to southbound I-29 when McKay lost control of the vehicle.

The semi then rolled over and ran off the left side of the roadway before striking a guard ail.

McKay received minor injuries in the accident however refused treatment at the scene of the crash.
