MISSOURI (press release) — The Department of Agriculture’s call for feedback on its rules has been met with overwhelming success. We have received more than 750 comments to date, but we still want more.

To invite additional input from Missourians, we’ve extended our comment period another 30 days, until Aug. 31. That means you have an extra 30 days to share your feedback on rules the Department has that are overly burdensome or unnecessary, or rules you think should remain the same. Click here to submit your comments.

In addition to the option to provide feedback online, the Department will host “Red Tape Reduction Row” from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 17, in the Agriculture Building at the Missouri State Fair. Several other state agencies will join the Department of Agriculture  in an open forum at which fairgoers can share comments on existing rules.
