A fire in rural Norborne over the weekend resulted in the death of one of the home’s residents. Wesley Legg, 39, was found in the remains on Saturday afternoon.
Fire Chief Malcolm Cunningham confirms Legg was a volunteer firefighter with the Hardin Fire District, but was not on duty at the time of the blaze. According to a KMZU listener, the house appears to be a total loss, and the home’s other occupants were absent at the time.
Memorial services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00.
