BLUE SPRINGS, Mo – The Back to School sales tax holiday is here once again in Missouri. The weekend-long tax break is a welcome event for parents of children returning to school. The opportunity to buy up clothing, supplies, computers, and other items in preparation for the new school year is enticing and usually increases shopping traffic over that weekend.
Lara Vermillion with the Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce talks about the benefits of the tax holiday in her city.
In 2015 the tax holiday runs from Friday, August 7 through Sunday, August 9.
