(Update 9:30 p.m.) Six Carrollton residents were hurt in an accident in Saline County Wednesday evening. According to reports Kurtis Sims, 24, was heading south on Highway 65 just south of Route N when he went off the road and flipped.  His passengers Chester Rice, 52, and Kassondra Schnakenberg, 25, had serious injuries and they were taken to Columbia Hospital. Sims had moderate injuries. The other passengers Brock Sims, 6,  Joccilynn Sims, 3, and Selena Sims, 3, all had minor injuries. They were taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital.

We have had a listener call to report of an accident in Saline County Wednesday evening. Dispatch confirmed the wreck as five miles north of Marshall on Highway 65. It’s unknown how many vehicles were involved. The report says there are multiple injuries and emergency crews were sent to location. We will provide more details when they are available.
