UPDATE: 11:35 A.M. Death Toll In Missouri Tops 1,000

JEFFERSON CITY — The number of deaths that are blamed on COVID-19 has reached 1,000 after the state added 19 deaths yesterday.  The latest death toll stands at 1,015.  Missouri also added 508 new confirmed cases, bringing the statewide total to 21,551.  Boone County recorded 25 new cases, which is the highest daily total for the county since the pandemic began.

MARSHALL, Mo. — Saline County has nearly free of the coronavirus as they are now reporting 12 active cases.

Of the 291 official cases, 275 have recovered with 4 deaths. The county had under 10 active cases over the weekend and has seen a slight uptick as of late.

As positive test results surge across the county, Saline County Health Department Administrator Tara Brewer says 70 tests are pending.
