JEFFERSON CITY, MO The Federal Emergency Management Agency approves Missouri’s request to expand the federal major disaster declaration to Callaway, Jefferson, Lewis, McDonald, Newton, and Saline. Governor Parson said in a statement this is very good news to many homeowners and renters who are working hard to recover and rebuild from the flooding. FEMA Media Relations Specialist told KMZU news the assistance victims receives should be viewed as supplemental.
Gaskins also said flood victims need to file by September 9th.
Their will be Disaster Relief Centers temporarily set up in different counties throughout northwest Missouri for hands on assistance or you can log onto disasterassistance.gov anytime to file a claim.
