Saline County Commissioners announced Thursday that a safety measure used on the courthouse will save tax payers money.

When the Saline County Courthouse was rebuilt lightning rods were put in place to prevent damage.
Brown says the county will save one and a half percent on their insurance bill because the safety measure is in place.
Commissioners also put off bids on instruction inspection services until January 20th because of a change in specs from the MoDoT.
