CHARITON COUNTY, Mo. — Charges were filed Nov. 5 for a crime taking place two days earlier in Chariton County.
Brandy Wells, of Marceline allegedly stole a Clonazepam prescription from a house in Salisbury as well as a .38 police special, a box of .38 caliber special ammo and keys to a Nissan pickup truck.
Wells is formally charged with felony stealing a firearm or explosive weapon, felony unlawful possession of a firearm, felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor stealing.
An initial appearance is scheduled for Dec. 11 at 9 a.m.
