The Salvation Army in Richmond will hold their 4th annual silent auction on Saturday. Coordinator Joy Story explained how the funds are utilized. “During the Christmas season, the Salvation Army has their red kettle campaign and each area raises money to help the needed families,” said Story, “We have our silent auction to help in that effort to raise funds that we can use for the families in Ray County to help with food, rent, and utilities.”
The organization will also host their open house this day complete with music by the God Squad and a visit by Santa at 2:00 p.m.
The Salvation Army is located at 104 N Main Street in Richmond.
