“They can register up to Saturday morning. They can register whenever the come in,” Zeikle said. “We have a $25 pre-registration fee before Saturday and on Saturday it will be $30 for the teams.”
The money from all events will benefit a scholarship in memory of Andrew Zeikle, who passed away six years ago. The friendly competition is set up in a 3-on-3 format. There will also be a slam dunk contest, door prizes and a snack shack, among other things.
“We would love for people to come and watch,” stated Zeikle. “If someone wants to make a donation I will have cards detailing how they can do that. We appreciate anybody and everybody that comes.”
Events are scheduled to kick off at 11:00 Saturday morning at Polo High School. The proceeds from all events will go into a scholarship fund to be given to a graduate of Polo High school next year.
