This morning at roughly 7:45am a school bus accident occurred on the city streets in Chillicothe. A motor vehicle pulled out in front of the school bus at an intersection on Calhoun Rd and subsequently hit the school bus. 911 were called and police responded to the scene. The Chillicothe School Superintendent Dr. Roger Barnes told KMZU News Director Heath Reynolds that no students were injured but one student was released to the care of his parents for further evaluation. School nurses checked out the rest of the students and they have been deemed fit. The ambulance that was on scene was in response of a passenger in the other vehicle. The Chillicothe School will go through it’s standard protocol in such instances and the bus driver will be tested for foreign substances. There will be more of this story to come at Noon news on KMZU and KMZU.com
