Now that the severe weather has passed, area schools have started scheduling make-up days.  Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with Chillicothe Superintendent Roger Barnes:

Roger Barnes

Barnes says their district missed eight days, but they’ve already made up two.  They will also hold class at the end of May.  If any more school is cancelled, Barnes said the district will likely be forced to hold class on Saturdays.

Other schools in the area have scheduled their new days.  Carrollton has five days to make up.  They will be in session March 28th, and again May 20th through the 23rd.

Marshall is scheduled for a half day March 15th and will also have class May 20th through the 24th.
