A collision between a scooter and a truck sent a Marshall woman to an area hospital. The accident occurred shortly before 4:45 p.m. Tuesday. According to a press release issued by the Marshall Police Department on Wednesday, Connie Harlin was attempting to enter the intersection of Lafayette and Boyd Streets when she collided with a pickup driven by Wayne Doolin, also of Marshall. Harlin was taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital. The extent of her injuries is not known.

On Tuesday, 08-13-2013 at approximately 4:41 p.m., Saline County 911 received an emergency telephone call in regard to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Lafayette and Boyd. Marshall Police, Saline County Ambulance and Marshall Fire Department were dispatched to the scene.
Upon officers arrival they observed a red scooter had crashed into the front of a pickup. It was determined at the scene the red scooter driven by Connie Harlin of Marshall, Missouri was traveling east on Boyd entering the intersection and collided with a 2004, silver Ford pickup driven by Wayne Doolin of Marshall, Missouri who was turning onto Lafayette.
Ms. Harlin was transported by Saline County Ambulance to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment.
