RAY COUNTY, Mo. — Authorities are still asking for help in identifying the driver of a vehicle involved in a deadly hit-and-run Saturday night.
The Missouri Highway Patrol is pleading with anyone who has information about the crash which resulted in the death of Tahkota Christiansen, 18 on Highway 10 in Ray County on Saturday.
Christiansen had been riding a motorbike when a person driving a Pontiac Grand Am, described as red in color and between the model years of 1999 and 2005, hit him from behind and sped away from the scene.
Authorities believe the vehicle in question has damage to its front passenger side.
Christiansen succumbed to his injuries roadside, but was not found by authorities until Sunday morning.
