Two Marshall residents have been taken into custody as the result of a lengthy investigation and search warrant execution.CrackCocaine

According to a release from the Marshall Police Department, officers arrived at a home located in the 600 block of South Lafayette Ave just after 9 a.m. this morning. Upon arrival, two suspects were apprehended.

While searching the home, officers located crack cocaine with an approximate street value of $6,800 as well as marijuana and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia.

Amanda Winn, 30, and Corey Winn, 36, now face charges including but not limited to trafficking of crack cocaine, distributing crack cocaine, keeping or maintaining a public nuisance, and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.

The couple is currently being held at the Marshall City Jail awaiting the filing of formal charges.
