Two Columbia residents were taken intocustody this morning after a search warrant revealed components of an active meth lab.
According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Department, David Greer, 36, and Ashley Greer, 30, were arrested and charged with one count each of manufacturing
methamphetamine and two counts each of endangering the welfare of a child, after two young children were found to be living at the residence as well as multiple items in the home’s garage consistent with a lab and an un-mentioned amount of the substance.
David Greer was also taken in on a failure to appear for a traffic violation.
The duo is being held at the Boone County Jail awaiting bond. Court proceedings have not yet been scheduled.
