At the 7C’s Winery in Walnut Grove, Missouri, the 2nd Annual Sippin’ n’ Sawin’ Chainsaw Carving Festival will be held on Oct. 31st and Nov. 1st from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Chainsaw Carving competitions will be held on both days with carvings being auctioned off to support local charities. Carvers will also have an opportunity to sell other wares at the festival. Live music is also scheduled for both days, and a “Trunk or Treat” for Children will take place on Saturday.
The proceeds of the auction will be split between the Carvers, and the Wolchek Foundation in support of the Walnut Grove Food Backpack Program, and the Ash Grove Food Pantry.
While the event is free, visitors are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for donation.
Sponsorships start at $25. The festival is looking for Sponsors, Volunteers to help with any of the scheduled functions, and “People to be Sippin’ while the artists are Sawin’.”
