The Sedalia City Council will review bids for the new waste water treatment plant Monday evening. Click to hear KMZU’s Kristie Cross talk to city administrator Gary Edwards:
Edwards says this in just a piece of the $30 million dollar project. “It’s one of the many work items that will be involved with this major sewer project that’s been going on for over a year and will continue for a period of time,” said Edwards,” This is simply another step in the process for completing waste water improvements here in the city of Sedalia.”
Other items on the agenda include a presentation of private sewer lines and an Alliance Water Resources semi-annual update. Council will review an ordinance amending the job description for park maintenance technician I and II and create a new job description for a part-time secretary for the park department, as well as for a finance and court assistant.
Members are also expected to review a resolution of the city’s participation in natural hazard mitigation.
The evening will begin with a work session at 6:15 p.m. to be immediately followed by the regular meeting.
