Roads in Sedalia have been cleared of snow and ice, prompting city officials to terminate their emergency snow routes ordinance.  The mandate went into effect on Saturday.  Residents are now allowed to park on streets designated as emergency snow routes.

Press Release from the City of Sedalia

The City of Sedalia Emergency Snow Routes notification has been terminated effective immediately. Emergency Snow Routes are activated when Sedalia receives snow and ice accumulations of 2 inches or more during the period of 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. of any day. As the designated Emergency Snow Routes have been substantially cleared of snow and ice, this parking prohibition has been deactivated and residents may resume normal parking procedures.
