SEDALIA, Mo.– Four people were arrested Monday night by Sedalia Police on a drug bust. A probable cause statement says officers served a no-knock drug warrant, and encountered a 2-year-old child and several individuals in the home, four of which were taken into custody.

John P. Jones, 44,  Sonya M. Jones, 41, Ronald N. Berry, 60, and Randy L. Wade, 43 were all arrested. The statement indicates officers questioned Jones in a bedroom, and found a black cooler carrying numerous items, including two bags of methamphetamine, a digital scale, various labeled individual bags of meth, syringes, four baggies of marijuana, and $929 in cash.  The statement says Jones claimed all the items as his.

John Jones and his wife, Sonya Jones received identical charges of drug trafficking in the second degree, two counts of distributing, manufacturing, producing, or attempt to, or possession with the intent to distribute, manufacture or produce a controlled substance, and one count of endangering the welfare of a child involving drugs in the first degree. Both Jones’ bond is set at $100,000 each. John Jones was set for court this morning at 8:30, and Sonya Jones is scheduled for a hearing August 16, 2016, in Sedalia.

Berry is charged with one count of distributing, manufacturing, producing, or attempt to, or possession with the intent to distribute, manufacture or produce a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and one count of unlawful possession of a firearm. Berry’s bond is set at $250,000 with court dates pending.

Wade is charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance, one count of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and one count of identity theft or attempted identity theft. Wade was set for court this morning at 8:30 in Sedalia.
