CAROLL COUNTY, Mo. — A Sedalia man is charged with multiple felonies after an arrest in Carroll County. According to a probable cause statement, officers were dispatched to Oak Hill Cemetery in Carrollton regarding a vehicle accident last Friday, Feb. 22.

While in route to the scene, officers were informed the vehicle had left the scene. Law enforcement later stopped the vehicle matching the description given to them.  Joshua M. Vorwork, 37, was found to be intoxicated behind the wheel and is formally charged with felony DWI, felony property damage in the 1st degree.

Multiple misdemeanor charges include leaving the scene of an accident, failure to comply with ignition interlock device requirements and driving while suspended or revoked.

The damage caused to the Oak Hill Cemetery was listed as extensive, valued at over $750.

Vorwork was initially placed on a 24 hour hold. He is currently out of custody and court dates are pending.
