PETTIS COUNTY, Mo. — A man was injured in a single-vehicle accident this afternoon in Pettis County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on southbound U.S. 65 at Hall Road. The vehicle driven by Gregory R. Gasser, 64, of Sedalia ran off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment, causing the vehicle to become airborne. The vehicle then struck the ground and overturned facing southbound.
Gasser was transported to Bothwell Regional Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. He was wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident.
