The 41st annual Sedalia Rotary Club auction is Friday at the Best Western State Fair Motor Inn.  In addition to the auction there will be food, drinks and a Missouri wine tasting.  Click to hear KMZU’s Janet Adkison talk with Project Chairman Kevin Bond:

Kevin Bond

“The money raised will support  some great causes,” Bond said.  “We do lots of things on a local basis.  For instance, we are finishing up the third year of a $25,000 commitment to Bothwell Regional Health Center for their cancer center.  We also support lots of sports activities and educational opportunities for children in our community.”

The rotary club hopes to raise $20,000 to benifit local organizations. It is a $10 cost at the door to get in, but Bond explained that the event has more to offer.  “We will have hors d’ oeuvres.  We will have things like chicken strips, vegetable trays, and desserts.  People can come and eat.  We’ll have drinks.  There will be wine tasting for the evening.  We will have a wide variety of items for the auction.”

The doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with the live auction beginning at 7:00.
