A women’s self-defense class is being offered in Lexington next Monday.  Click to hear KMZU’s Sandi Wilson speak with instructor Jake Phillips:

Instructor Jake Phillips says the course is designed to make the response to an attack as simple as possible.  “It’s unique and maybe not what you would think about in a traditional women’s self defense class,” said Phillips, “Basically, you learn one move for two hours
and, by the time you’re finished, you should be able to defend against almost anything from knives, guns, punches, tackles, and things like that.  We just keep it pretty simple and it’s based on what your body wants to do naturally.”

The event will be held Monday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.at the United Methodist Church in Lexington.  There is a $35 fee to attend.   Please visit the event website to register for the class.
