BOONE COUNTY, Mo. — A Columbia man, already on federal probation for a drug conviction, has been sentenced for drug trafficking and firearms possession.
Vernon D. Jordan, 34, was sentenced Tuesday to nine years in a federal prison without parole.
The sentence includes two years for violating the terms of his supervised release for a weapons charge dating back to 2015.
Jordan pleaded guilty in January to possessing heroin to distribute and possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.
