The City of Warrensburg has transitioned their sewer utility billing service back in-house. Carpenter explained the reasoning behind the decision. “We wanted to do this to bring more customer service to the citizens of Warrensburg,” said Carpenter, “Hopefully, this will make it more accessible for them to pay their bills and ask any questions they may have.”
Officials invite residents to visit city hall to view the new billing format. “They can come in anytime during business hours which are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.,” said Carpenter, “And then we will also make it accessible for them to come at 7:30. That way they have those 30 minutes if they have to go to work.”
A frequently asked questions section has also been added to the city’s website where additional information can be found or you may call the billing department at 660-262-4549. Residents can expect to see their new bill later this week.
