The 11th annual Arts and Crafts Show is to be hosted by SFCC in Sedalia on December 6th. With it being just a few months out, they are seeking vendors now. “We’re looking for a variety,” Kelchner said, “So it could be anything from jewelry, to clothes, to wood making, baking, that’s just a variety of vendors we’ve had in the past. We have a max of 140 spaces and we already have 95. So it is a popular event and people know that we have it. It’s right before the Christmas season so it’s a really a good spot and the Davis Multipurpose Center is very well lit and has great parking, so it’s just a very popular event.”
There are only 45 vendor spaces still available for this years show. “Last year we had 125 vendors participate,” Kelchner said,”And we pretty much hit that ceiling almost every year. So it’s just a good time to put a call out again and get on peoples calendars so they can make sure they hit one of the most popular craft shows in the area.”
With this event being so well known and right before the holidays, there is sure to be a great turn out of potential customers. “The craft show is December 6th,” said Kelchner, “It will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. As I mentioned, we are still seeking vendors and they can set up their booths the day before, so from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday the 5th. They can also get in there at 7:00 a.m. the morning of the event. If they need more information or want to know more about it, they can call the Davis Multipurpose Center at 660-530-5808. Or we have a web page set up on our web site, and it is SFCCMO.edu/artsandcraftshow.”
