JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Charges have been filed against a Jefferson City man who allegedly shot him victim during a robbery Monday night.
Police say 27-year-old Michael Lee Miller entered a home in the 1300 block of Monroe Street and struck a 25-year-old victim with a handgun.
Miller then shot the man in the chest, took his wallet and fled the scene.
Miller is charged with first degree assault, first degree robbery, armed criminal action, unlawful use and unlawful possession of a firearm.
The victim was released from the hospital Thursday.
