A special meeting regarding Concordia’s Sister Liberty statue will be held Friday evening. Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with City Administrator Dale Klussman:
The area Lion’s Club brought a request for renovations to the Sister Liberty Statue before the Parks Board last week. The Boy Scouts commissioned about 200 replicas of the Ellis Island original in the 1950s. Klussman said about half are now unaccounted for, and many have undergone severe alterations.
That meeting will begin at 7:00 in the Concordia Community Building.
