Benton County, MO — Six people were injured when two trucks collide in Benton County.

The accident happened earlier this week. A Ford pick-up Being driven by 73-year-old Jerald D. Brandt of Lincoln, reportedly failed to make a turn and crossed the center line on Highway H near W striking another Ford truck.

Brandt ran off the road and was ejected, his truck would continue on overturning down an embankment.

The pickup that was struck, traveled off the road and hit an embankment. All five people in that Ford F-350 were injured including three juveniles. The Missouri Highway Patrol said only one child was known to have been wearing a seat belt.
