PETTIS COUNTY, Mo. — A 55 year old Pettis County resident is scheduled for an afternoon hearing.
As stated in court records, Andrew Skutnick of Sedalia is held on a $350,000 bond after incidents originally reported in early November, 2014.
A probable cause statement received by KMZU indicates a minor child reported Skutnick had inappropriately touched her on many occasions. After further investigation by child services, enough reason was found for a warrant for Skutnicks’ arrest in mid-November last year (2014), followed by a grand jury indictment in January of this year(2015).
Skutnick is formally charged with two counts of 1st degree statutory sodomy, attempted statutory sodomy, and 1st degree child molestation.
This afternoons hearing will get underway in a Pettis County court room at 1:30 p.m.
