Slater City Administrator Gene Griffith gave an update Tuesday night at their regular city council meeting on damage and costs from a recent storm.

Allegri says they were expecting help with the cost, but the damage cost runs short.
Liquor licenses fees were also reduced by council to $150 for liquor by the drink and to $100 for Sunday sales.
They also heard updates on the growing issue of vandalism in the city park and possible solutions.
Firework times for the community will be from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. starting Friday, June 20th and continuing until Saturday, July 5th.
An ordinance was passed allowing the City Attorney to negotiate restitution for the community.
