A Saline County resident pleaded guilty Monday to charges of burglary and stealing. William Griffith, 20, of Slater, admitted to breaking into 20 storage units in July and taking more than $12,000 worth of property. He was sentenced to five years probation. Co-defendant Jerrad Gilpin, 19, of Marshall, is scheduled to return to court Dec. 19.
