SALINE COUNTY, Mo. — A Slater resident avoided serious injuries when his vehicle struck an embankment and overturned Tuesday morning.
Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that at 8 a.m. Tuesday morning, Sara K. Reynolds, 23, was southbound on Missouri 41 Highway — just south of Route AC — when his vehicle left the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, and ran off the roadway’s left side.
Reynolds then overcorrected again, causing his vehicle to run off the right side of the road, strike an embankment, and overturn.
Seatbelt utilization likely helped Sara avoid more critical wounds. He was treated for minor injuries at Fitzgibbon Hospital.
