CHILLICOTHE — Chillicothe, the Home of Sliced Bread, is set to feature the town’s best and favorite music artists during the Slice of Home live music event. Crystal Narr, Executive Director of the Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce, explains how the free concert came to be.
Narr says it’s especially meaningful to the chamber and that the chamber is proud it gets to host an event like A Slice of Home because of everything the community has been through this past year.
Attendees can expect to hear more than just music. Narr describes what the concert set will be like.
Spectators do need to remember to bring their own chairs. Narr has more about what to expect.
For those who like to eat and drink while enjoying a good concert, Narr encourages them to purchase their food from the neighboring district and says those businesses are “happy to serve all the people who come out for the concert that night.”
The guys set to perform Saturday are from the town of Chillicothe, but not all still reside there. Narr offers some information about the artists.
The executive director goes into a little more detail about the entertainment the chamber has lined up and their styles of music.
Everything surrounding the upcoming concert certainly has one theme – the Chillicothe community. Narr expresses her gratitude for the hard work and dedication the area and sponsors have shown the chamber.
The event takes place from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, July 10, at the Sliced Bread Innovation Center, located at 1st and Elm Streets in Chillicothe. Free will donations will be accepted from those who would like to give. All proceeds will benefit the Chillicothe Area Chamber Scholarship Program. The original event information can be found here.
